I’m blaming it on the intermittent bouts of insomnia I’m experiencing at the moment and the shock of Cecily’s immature antics that wouldn’t let me look away. Back then, she loved him―but she was invisible. [ Her investigative reporting instincts kick into action as she vows to discover the truth. The lovable Duncan she’d known is now a suit-and-tie wearing, rule-enforcing tough guy so hell-bent on protecting the school that he’s willing to destroy it. Until the opposite turns out to be true. Cecily is immature, naive, and somewhat whiny while Grant is … And on top of the abhorrent characters, the author uses 9/11 as a "fun, entertaining" backdrop with absolutely no emotional detail or significance whatsoever.

I think the author need to go back to the drawing board!!

I’m surprised! View All Titles. I think she could have had Grant go missing and not involve a national tragedy. I found the characters flat, immature, and downright dull. Let’s talk about this and Cecily’s decision to finally break it off with him. Why did Cecily decided to meet with his wife Amy? They carry on like lovestruck teenagers, each thinking they love the other and each backing away when the fear of commitment overwhelms them. The plot was awkward at best. This book was honestly a waste of money.
